Very nice test between 2 of my icon cars in automotive history : The Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette and The RUF BTR 911 Turbo done by my favorite cynic presentor Jeremy Clarkson. The harder he comments the more he likes a car.
@crnkdeja the Mclaren F1 went into production in 1992. he does say “back in 1990″. so yes its faster but its irrelevent

Listen more carfully before you post, he means everybody is telling about it, what’s the fuzz, he still think it’s a porsche until he put down the metal, and yes these cars have turbo-lag that is normal for cars from those ages. Turbo’s are now a normal thing on normal cars back then, it was a little bit of rocket-science, like de renault 5 turbo, a car with a bigger turbo lag then the lancia delta

well idg a fuk ! id take a z06 over a dum porshe like that one . plus id bet if it wasnt for the turbo u wudlnt even be a able to catch up to the z06! and i have nothing against turbo im just saying ur porshe wud not beat the z06 n/a ! period!
@shjesus LMAO, wow, corvette fanatic? chill out dude. in my books Porsche and Corvette are two completely different cars. different purposes. me personally Porsche is better. now recently Corvette has stepped up but I wouldn’t hesitate to put a GT3 rs on a track than a Z06

Also you said it was the best handling car in 84 which really does not imply any class. If it is the best handling car of 84 than the price should not matter.

Your Firebird is not going to out corner a Ferrari GTO. Might do the 1/4 mile faster but not the entire track.
Also considering you have not driven either of the cars I have mentioned, you really don’t have a frame of reference.

pretty sure 924 and 944 handled better.
Think you might be thinking about a Ferrari GTO or the Prosche 928s one of the cars without leaf springs. It might cover the 1/4 mile faster than most but when it had to turn it was a pig like 90% of muscle cars. They were never made to corner. It’s only in the past couple of years that the vette’s have made strides in handling. Now the ZR1 is superior to most European cars. But certainly not in 1984!
well the c4 corvette was the best handling car in 1984 better than lambo or ferrari you can see the fucking rain on the glass when hes in the corvette both of those cars are beast now in their day not shit touched them
